Sounds of Ancient Mexico & The Americas

This program is the innovative creation of Martin Espino. The audience is gently motivated to "Sing-easy-to-sing-songs" in native languages of the Americas as well as playing from the huge collection of Native percussions that Martin will bring to share! Mr. Espino considers himself one of the pioneers of what he calls "Interactive performance". He has been doing this since the late 1970's. Martin will take you on a journey through time and history with upbeat and meaningful native music. At the request of the library, Martin has extended his regular program to make it 2 hours long!!! Come and enjoy music in the best way it can be enjoyed, playing with other people!
