Martin Espino besides being an authority on his ancestral Mexican instruments is also a composer and a composer of what he calls "Soundwork". These are works composed for the use of sound, texture and mood. FUEGO is a 20 minute work for Ancient Mexican Wind Instruments, Electronics and "live" processing. Martin will also be playing other works of this nature. This is Martin's way of sending his ancestor's instruments off into the future. Martin is dedicating this innovative evening to Indigenous People's Day.
