Martin has been to this school many times and its a wonderful thing that schools are starting to open up to having outside educational programs, like Martin's! Day #1 covers: basic art designs concepts and introduction to Californian Petroglyph Art . Day #2 We decorate and complete the assembly of a "Californian Clapper Stick" (percussion instrument). We decorate using designs concepts we reviewed and applying petroglyph art.. Day #3 End with playing music with their new instrument as well as being introduced to other Californian indigenous instruments and playing them as well. I incorporate cultural facts, historical info, stories and actual indigenous songs. Martin can come to your school and do this for you. He has other programs as well: Ancient Mexico, Rainforest and Ancient North, Central & South America.
