MEXIKA Is one of the main existing and most well known music groups outside of Mexico that plays all the indigenous instruments of ancient Mexico. It is a powerful acoustic ensemble whose members are, Martin Espino, Founder, Erick Barraza and Nazario Segura. Together they play a virtual museum of beautiful ancient instruments. To hear them all together “live in person” is just beautiful. This will not be a farewell concert but it sort of is because Nazario is going to be moving in August to Idaho. The group will still exist though. But this will be one of the last times you’ll be able to see us all together Until the next time that time and distance brings us together. This concert just celebrate the years that we were together and very highly visible venues we performed at in Europe and the USA, Where we have such big clients as Sony, Zoom North America, Cardenas supermarkets, California university system, Long Beach Arts Council, Long Beach performing arts center and many other great venues and clients. When we perform live it’s either as the trio doing instrumental music or will bring a whole bunch of dancers. This is going to be a concert of just the trio of musicians/practicing traditional artists known as MEXIKA. come and celebrate the legacy of this fantastic trio!
