Richard Montoya of the political comedy trio called Culture Clash, hired Martin for the soundtrack of his movie, "WATER AND POWER" (2013). He was all over the soundtrack in that one and got to work with Gingerr Shankar, Ravi's niece. For this documentary, about Carlos Almaraz, great Chicano painter and friend of mine, Richard added some of Martin’s percussion to the soundtrack! There's more though.....Richard has recordings of Martin from the WATER AND POWER movie that were not used, so he used them on another "upcoming NETFLIX documentary called "CHAVEZ RAVINE", so, keep a look out in SEPT 2021 please! Martin’s music appears right at scene where a low rider, stops in from of Los Angeles City Hall. The music starts as they get out of the car! Cool! Thank you Richard Montoya and Netflix.
