Thursday morning Martin will presetnt a public lecture and meet the public about his work, culture and music, then after is rehearsal, Friday is rehearsal and Saturday is a get-together of some of the worlds top brass players. They get together for the last 20 or 30 years and the Kellogg foundation finds this concert . This year’s theme is Latino; they’re going to be playing a special works, like Classical Composer, Silvestre Revueltas. The name of the piece I will be playing on is LA NOCHE DE LOS MAYAS and they will be doing the orchestral score as arranged for a 30 piece brass band; these musicians are some of the top Brass players from all around the world and yes they will be coming in from all around the world I got asked to be a featured percussion player and will be reading from the score at the concert.
